This new ultra Compact mini LoRa (LongRange) Antenna is perfectly adapted for the carplounge RT4 Autopilot V3 & V4

One of the main advantages of using a baitboat is certainly that you can place your rigs in places that no one can cast - under obstacles like overhanging trees, low bridges, etc. With normal "long" baitboat antennas, however, it can happen in difficult situations that the boat gets stuck in dense leaves or on overhanging objects. From our worldwide more than 15000 Rt4 customers we received again and again requests if short 868mhz antennas from Ebay, Alibaba etc. can be used for our boats. In recent years we have tested so many different antennas from different suppliers, these standard antennas have a range of 50 - max 100 meters simply not to our requirements.

Since we have received so much positive feedback on our new 2.4Ghz Element Compact Antenna, our engineers have taken the time to develop a perfectly adapted Longrange (Lora) antenna -with a precise setup for all V3 and V4 Carplounge autopilots : With only 5cm height, the many test results were more than satisfactory: Even if it has only 1/5 the length of the regular 23cm 868Mhz Lora antenna, (for ranges v. 400-800 meters), we still achieved stable connections of 150-400 meters on average during various tests with the new 868Mhz compact antenna! (Depending on the hardware/version and the radio interference conditions at the lake).

Please make sure to always use/order the correct antennas for your Echo/GPS, as the wrong antennas may not bring the desired range.
